Power is supplied by a 120 volt wall outlet, and a built in battery backup keeps it operating during power outages. This unit is compatible with Digital Internet Telephone (VOIP) systems. On-Line offer for our Standard unit good only in Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Catawba, Rowan, and Stanley Counties of North Carolina: Medical Alert Order Cellular Medical Alert System With the popularity of cell phones, many people no longer have a wired phone in their homes! Or, perhaps there just isn't phone service. For those individuals, we offer a cellular based Medical Alert System. This unit is completely self-contained and does not require, or use, a separate cell plan. The button has an approximately 250 foot range. If the button is out of range for an extended period, the unit will place an alert call automatically. It is powered by standard 120 volt wall outlet, and a built in backup battery maintains operation in the event of a power outage. Fall Sensing Working in harmony with our Medical Alert Systems, the Fall Sensor is perfect for persons that are prone to falling. It is designed to detect a fall automatically and call our Monitoring Center. A two-way conversation is then opened. If no sudden movement is detected within 10 seconds, an unconsciousness alarm is raised, which will expedite appropriate actions. Assistance can be reached at any time by pushing the button in the middle of the pendant. This device is the smallest and most sensitive fall detector currently on the market. It is also waterproof and features a low battery detection function. Care Watch For the active person on the go! The Care Watch utilizes cellular and GPS technology to provide location information and to direct responders in the event of an emergency. The wearer can maintain their independence both inside and outside of the home! Lightweight and dependable, the unit can be worn as a watch or pendant and includes it's own recharging station. The wearer can summon help instantly, and speak directly with our Care Center via the watch! Completely self-contained, the Care Watch does not require purchaser to have or purchase a cell plan. Medication Dispenser Our electronic pill dispenser takes the headache and worry out of making sure the proper dosage is taken on time. The unit alerts the user that medications are ready via an alarm and flashing light. If the dosage is not taken within 30 minutes, it notifies our Care Center, who will then follow up with a phone reminder check. A built in battery backup keeps the unit running even during a power outage. The correct dose, on time, every time..
